Bluetooth earbuds are one of the most comfortable ways to enjoy music and podcasts. You can move freely without having to deal with cables.
However, Bluetooth pairing can be tricky sometimes. That’s why I have put together this easy-to-follow guide.
In general, to connect your Brookstone Bluetooth earbuds to your phone…
- Turn on your Bluetooth earbuds via the power button.
- Open the “Settings” application on your phone.
- Access the Bluetooth settings and activate the feature.
- Look for the “Brookstone” name on the list of Bluetooth devices.
- Press on the device’s name to activate the Bluetooth pairing process.
- Once the Bluetooth pairing is finished, you can stream music from your earbuds.
We’ll go into more detail below.
A Few Details About Your Brookstone Earbuds

In general terms, Brookstone earbuds have the same functions as most earbuds. However, I should point out a few of their architectural features.
In most Bluetooth devices, the microphone is on the top of the bud, and you will find the indicator light at the bottom. In between, there is the power button. The same applies to Brookstone earbuds.
Additionally, most Brookstone earbuds have the option of a dual or single operation. That means you can choose listening from one earbud while the other charges in the case.
Operating Both Bluetooth Earbuds
You can apply the process that follows at the initial connection of the earbuds to your phone.
Once the pairing is complete, you will not need to repeat all the steps, as the earbuds usually connect automatically to your phone after the first time. You can directly access the settings and click on the name of your earbud’s model if you have performed the pairing and the earbuds are not connected automatically.
At the end of the article, we have included further tips on what to do if the connection is constantly failing.
1. Turn On the Bluetooth Earbuds

To connect your Bluetooth earbuds, first take them out of their case.
You must turn them on simultaneously by pressing the power button for about 7 to 10 seconds. When you release them, the buds will go into pairing mode. Note that they are connecting to each other, not to your phone.
Once the process has ended, you will hear the message “Connected, left channel, right channel” and see the LED indicator flashing.
2. Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Pairing Mode

The flashing means that the earbuds are in pairing mode to connect to a Bluetooth device.
The right earbud will flash red fast, and the left will flash white slowly. The flashing and pairing mode will stop if the connection isn’t established within 2 minutes.
3. Access Your Phone’s Settings

Leave aside your earbuds for a while and open your phone.
You will now need to activate the Bluetooth pairing mode on your phone. To do so, follow these steps:
- In the “Settings” application, look for the Bluetooth settings.
- Activate the function by pressing the grey bar. Once you press it, the bar should turn blue.
- A Bluetooth device list will also appear when the Bluetooth on your phone is ready for use.
At this point, both your Bluetooth device and earbuds are ready to connect.
4. Connection
You will establish the connection between the two devices from your phone.
Firstly, please search for the name of your Bluetooth earbuds on the device list and then press it. You will see the message “Connecting…” under the name of the model of your earbuds. Thus, the pairing process will begin. If a message appears asking for a PIN, insert “0000”.
If the process is successful, you will see the message “Connected” under the name of the Bluetooth earbuds.
Operating a Single Earbud
1. Turn On the Single Bluetooth Earbud

Like the above method, first, take the earbud out of the case.
Press the power button for about 7 to 10 seconds. Since the other earbud is in the case, it will not have to connect to another bud. Thus, you will see the LED indicator flashing.
2. Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Pairing Mode

The flashing means that the earbud is in pairing mode to connect to a Bluetooth device. The flashing and pairing mode will stop if the connection isn’t established within 2 minutes.
3. Access Your Phone’s Settings
Set aside your earbud for a while and open your phone, likewise to the first method.
You will now need to activate the Bluetooth pairing mode on your phone. To do so, follow these steps:
- Access the “Settings” application and activate Bluetooth.
- A Bluetooth device list will appear when Bluetooth is operating.
At this point, both your Bluetooth device and the single earbud are ready to connect.
4. Connection

You will again establish the connection between the two devices from your phone.
Select the name of your Bluetooth earbud on the device list. You will see the message “Connecting…” under the name of your earbud’s model once the pairing process begins. If a message appears asking for a PIN, insert “0000”.
If the process is successful, you will see the message “Connected” under the name of the Bluetooth earbud.
What to Do If the Bluetooth Earbuds are Not Pairing
If you cannot pair your Bluetooth earbuds to your device or each other, you can perform the following tests and quick fixes.
First, make sure that your earbuds and their case are charged. The lack of power in their battery will prohibit any pairing or connection process.
The next issue to check is the range between your phone and the buds. They will not be able to connect if they are not in the same range.
Ensure that the Bluetooth earbuds are not connected to any other devices. Wireless earbuds cannot connect to multiple devices. Thus, if they are already linked to another Bluetooth device, they will not perform any other pairings.
Finally, both your earbuds must activate simultaneously. If not, they might not connect or pair with your phone.
